Today, or yesterday I should say because it is past midnight, we had 3 practice matches. They went fairly well. We have made some improvements to our robot since Philly, but I will not share them with you, you have to figure them out yourself. Good Luck to all teams! Mike |

Yesterday, we had three matches and won 2 out of 3 to be seeded 32 for alliance picking. The number 2 seeded team, Team 341 Miss Daisy, one of our winning alliance partners from last year, choose 365 MOE and us, CHUCK 84, to be on their alliance. We hurdled our way through the semi and quarter-finals and faced the alliance of 103, 272, and 809 in the finals. We lost the first finals match due to 3 penalties on our alliance. The second match we won by only 2. And the third and final match we won by 8 points plus a ten point penalty on 103's alliance for a total of 18 points. The finals were the hardest matches of the day. I will upload pictures as soon as I have time to do so. Right now I am e-mailing companies to see if we can get more sponsorships. It is 1 O'Clock on Friday and matches are just about to start back up.
We are 21st as of right now.
We had a little incident where I broke one of our tines, BUT it was welded and we are just as good if not better than before.
Let's go for back-to-back titles!

We (The Drive team, a portion of the pit crew, and our engineers) are headed out from Towanda tonight at 6:15 to go to Philly. Back to Back gold medals? Let's hope! We have redesigned our lift so that it will be functional. I inform you of this due to the fact that in Rochester it was not functional. The rest of the team departs very early tommorow morning, possibly 5? I'm not sure, because I am a drive team member. GO CHUCK! |
